The Incoming Department is responsible for providing assistance to the incoming foreign trainees and ensuring that they not only receive a warm reception but also enjoy their stay in India. This includes:
- VISA assistance: Helping interns obtain the required documents for VISA.
- Registration with authorities upon arrival.
- Arranging accommodation.
- Organizing cultural trips & events.
- Organizing awareness & training workshops.
- Sponsorship & Partnerships.
Incoming, Manipal also successfully organizes ‘Namaste Manipal’, a week-long event organized for our interns which introduces them to our beautiful & diverse culture and various traditions. Interns not just from Manipal, but also other cities such as Karunya, Jaipur, etc participate & made this event a huge success.

Atithi Devo Bhava, Sanskrit for “guest is equivalent to God,” is exemplified in the week-long celebration that is Namaste Manipal. Each year in August, the idyllic South Indian university town of Manipal witnesses something absolutely spectacular. Hosted by LC Manipal, interns from across the globe come together to revel in diversity.
